Bootcamp or weekly programme

Two paths that complement each other.

Progress builds over months and years, rarely overnight. The bootcamp brings a concentrated push; the weekly programme secures and builds on what was achieved. We work out the right combination in the assessment.

    Intensive

    Bootcamp

Concentrated intensive rehabilitation. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy work towards the same goal, with robotics or without. Therapy days are balanced: clear goals, well-paced units, enough breaks.

    Goal
A concentrated push that brings a function within reach
    Duration
1 to 4 weeks in one block
    Rhythm
    Several units per therapy day
    Makes sense after
Diagnosis, surgery or a change of goal; in the school holidays on request
  • A girl practises cutting with scissors at a table with her occupational therapist

    Ongoing

    Weekly programme

Keeps the training stimulus going once the intensive phase is over. With consistent therapists, exercises for home and regular reviews based on measurement data.

    Goal
Secure and build on what was achieved
    Duration
    Ongoing, over months
    Rhythm
Following the therapy goals and the prescription
    Makes sense after
    Every bootcamp, and in between

After every bootcamp, measurement data and findings go to the prescribing physician. The weekly programme builds on that, or the application for a further bootcamp.
